This is silly. Cebu may secede as it wants but it is still objectively Pinoy culturally, geographically and biologically. Bitterness at Tagalogs does not change that. At the end of the day, the Cebuano DNA, even if Cebu separates from the Phils is still indistinguishable from Dabaweno or Manileno DNA. Like it or not, Cebu is inescapably Pinoy by blood. BTW, I'm Bisaya too and yes, Manila is the favorite child not all of us feel the way you do.

Regardless of what you may think... you are considered to be from of the Philippines. Technically making you a FILIPINO. Although I may not agree about the ideas that my country has I still consider myself to be a proud citizen of the United States and not just a proud Californian. I have hundreds of cousins and friends who are from Cebu and consider themselves to be a PROUD Filipino.

Well it's the same thing with states and cities in the United States. You may live in the United States but if were you actually were born and raised in New York for example, you would represent that city more so than your state.
