i hope there is a rematch but i dont think there will be.1.mayweather has achieved everything in the sport he wants to so will most likely retire on top.2.hatton really surprised mayweather at how strong, powerfull and how good his chin is so i believe mayweather thinks he could lose to hatton in a rematch.

Floyd Mayweather will definitly come back. But he won't fight Hatton. Because he beat his ass. But he will definitly fight either Cotto, or Paul Williams. I think he doesn't want to fight them right now, because of their popularity. If they get alot of popularity in the following months, then he will fight them. And Oscar doesn't want to deal with Mayweather again.

Hatton is not going to beat Mayweather in a rematch. He has a weakness. He drops his left hand, when he comes charging at you. That's why Mayweather kept using his left hook. And he knocked him out with his left hook. Mayweather destroyed him. Mayweather actually stood toe to toe and whooped his ass. He took Hatton's best punch and came right back. His defense is flawless. Ricky is not on Floyd's level. He's better then Gatti and Baldomir. But that's not saying much.

kinyo...I agree that Hatton isn't fat,shit or skilless. I do disagree that he's a top 5 (lucky if he's top 10) fighter...and he certainly didn't beat the best at 140. He hasn't faced any of the current title holders (Witter, Torres, Malignaggi or Rees). He would be nuts to stay at 147 so a fight with one of these aforementioned boxers is probably in his immediate future.

hey i know that what i meant was that hatton has only ever had 1 fight at that weight and mayweather has been at welterweight for a while now so i would like to see him drop down a weight and fight ricky with no warm up fights like ricky did thats all.mayweather deserved to win he's the best in the world im not disputing that.hatton did not fight to his game plan so i think a rematch would be alot closer thats all!

Man I am a floyd mayweather fan to the fullest and I love his ass to death, But I think hatton looked kinda fly bumping that g-unit shit and in the fifty hat when he made all I need is a little bit. ;-)
Also, Hatton was right about floyd throwing money in every ones face and shit and being displayed as the bad guy. I think he could have 100% more follows who respect him if his ass wasn't as arrogant as he is.
