My dad drove this car from ontario to Kansas city and still works fine but its the 2008 model we only stop 4 gas stop. this suv is great. I still wonder how to 2009 santa fe will look like

I could say the same thing about a lot of cars, including most American brands.
But in the real world, we vote with our limited personal supply of dollars and now that the quality has improved, the Hyundais offer a compelling product. Not to mention many of them are built in Alabama.

Yeah if I had a bit more cash to throw around, I might get a range rover sport, however, I just bought a brand new santa fe and it's a really great car. Super comfortable to drive with plenty of space, heaps of gadgets and accessories and plenty of safety features. So, shitty may have applied to Hyundai 15 years ago, I agree, but no more. Hyundais look good and feel good. I love my Santa fe.

Despite how much ppl trying to trash HYUNDAI they are doing things right~!! Looking at GM and Ford going down the hill, Hyundai is taking position itself underdog. It's not simple as we say "why they do that?"
Hmm ~ why is GM going down the hill? Used to be #1 in the world.
Marketing and engineering and design is complicated thing. Nissan and Toyota and Honda exited forever and Hyundai is newcomer.
I think they are doing really good all around the world.
