Throw away your whole life, all things material, personal, relationships etc...eat nothing but ramen noodles and listen to little walter and everyone else, practice at least 8 hours a day for year after year for 20 years, go to jail get on drugs, get sober, quit, start again etc...Then again they say I was a natural...No seriously man it's a lot of work but some of the videos here will make it much much easier for real.

Jason, I have a question. I want to buy a harmonica badly, I love music and I love the blues and am sure I could catch on quickly. I just don't know what key to buy it in. I was going to buy one of the Hohner Steven Tyler series, but they are in A. Is this an alright key to start in?

I can totally hear Pat's influence. The lick from "Last Night" of the White Hot & Blue album Pat did with Johny Winter in 1978. I must add that your encouraging lesson can certainly put new tools in the harp players utility belt.

Special 20 seems to be everyone's fave. I had a "screw around on" ol standby. It rusted out on me. I really want to learn to play for real though. Man I love the sound of a good harp.
