Drunk Vegas Lawyer causes mistrial Part 4

Uploaded by: ajxm
Video Description:
Vegas lawyer, Joe Caramagno, causes mistrial after showing up to court drunk, part 2. A judge ordered a blood-alcohol test for a defense lawyer who was slurring his words, then declared a mistrial after declaring him too tipsy to argue a kidnapping case. Watch the judge loose her patience. TOO FUNNY! Check out my other cool videos at: http://www.youtube.com/ajxm

I don't know why he isn't simply held in contempt of court, but it is funny to listen to the judge keep twisting the knife and for the attorney to keep digging with as big a shovel as he can find.

.075? isn't the drinking/driving limit .08? it's still irresponsible as an attorney representing a defendant, but still, that could totally be residual.

The moral of the story, write down your lie with details and recite it several times, before you start lying, because if you caught lying , you are a liar, and if you caught lying and forgot your story, you are a stupid liar. also choose a simple story, not double hit and run, how lucky are you to have double hit and run?
Note to thick minded: it's a joke, not condoning lying.

What's really bad about this is that .075 is CLOSE to .08, the legal limit. AND he took this test almost 2 hours in to the court proceedings, so it would have been MUCH higher when this started. VERY sad to see this.

Yes it is. BUT, The state can sill charge someone at anything above a .04%. All they have to prove is IMPAIRMENT to ANY degree. And depending on how long this set of videos is he very well could have been over the limit at the time of the crash. The body metabolizes alochol at .015%/hr. So his reading of .075 means an hour ago he was (approximately) at a .09%. And as far as "residual" alcohol, Residual alcohol is present in the mouth for approximately 5 mins after consumption.
