he may be only getting older and slower, as some people are far too eager to point out.
Nevertheless, he's still Brian O'Driscoll, amazing player, i'll be surprised if he isn't selected for the lions. He's still a cut above everyone else, its sad that Ireland seem to be a bit below par at the moment.

good player, but theres no way id say he is or ever was the greatest center in the world. there have been some amazing centers before. o'driscall is still a great player though and would be the best center in the northern hemisphere

Aside from what you've mentioned the only trophy left to win is the world cup, which Samoa have never won.ireland have a better world cup record than Samoa anyway. O'Driscoll isn't a great attacking player anymore but he's still great in defence and at the breakdown. Give him some time to regain his form.Did you watch the video? He's obviously a great player.Are great players always part of great teams?You should know the answer to this qusetion is no, Briam Lima is Samoan.He was a great player.

Ireland might have a better world cup record but how many players do u have to pick from? You have more players than what we have as a population.Ireland have been a great dissapointment in world rugby where there is so much expectations on them based on some false hope that they are good. They might win a 6 nations but cant beat a tri nations team & struggle to beat a pacific island team.

Ummm sorry I belive Ireland beat the pacific Iselands with a rough 50 point score. so please dont lie. We have beaten Tri nations teams and we were the closest to beating Nz this year from the NH so yea please stop lieng. There has only been a few world cups and not every great country can win them.

Ure talkin shite, u obviously haven't a clue about rugby if you reckon BOD wasn't one of the best in the world. Up until recently, over a year or maybe 18 months, he was no1 in the world in his position. Everyone in both SH and NH rugby would have rated him as one of the best. I think his preformances of late haven't been up to his usual brillant standard but he's a long way from bein past it. Ure clearly just a wind up merchant!!

Actually if u look at the all blacks, there are more samoans playing for them then any other nation,they arent allowed to play for samoa because of money.If samoa could choose all available players from Australia,NZ and samoa i think u would have one of the best teams in the world.This also applies to their league team as well.

I doubt that.The irish rugby playing population is 100,000, including women and kids.I could be wrong, but i think that Samoa has a population of more than 100,000?
