| Oh what a hitter! I used to see him in person when the Cards would come in to Ebbets Field and the Polo Grounds. Number 6 was a one man wrecking crew especially how he owned the Schaefer Scoreboard at Ebbets. There'll never be another Card to touch him, including Albert Pujols. |

| I wish I could find some old film footage of the St. Louis Browns. There weren't any teams in Dixie or on the West Coast back in the early '50s and I remember my dad saying he was a Browns fan. Most southerners liked either the Browns or Cardinals back then. |
