Well, I finally finished it, and I put it to Ipod format. I feel very accomplished. I own nothing, and this is all for your entertainment.
This is a Harry Potter/Patriot Crossover. If you didn't see "The Patriot", this is a spoiler to some degree...
So... watch at your own risk...
Here's the story so you don't get confused...
After Hermione gets sent back in time accidentally to South Carolina, in the midst of the Revolutionary war, Hermione stays with Benjamin Martin and his family(only the time turner and some of the martins are shown to represent this). There, she witnesses the murder of Thomas Martin, by none other than Colonel William Tavington, head commander of The Green Dragoons. After seeing Hermione there, he becomes obsessed with her. He becomes determined to claim her as his own.
Hermione, on the other hand, can't let go of the fact that Tavington killed Thomas. She stores hatred and other feelings for the Loyalist. He haunts her mind, causing her grief.
One night, The Green Dragoons raid The Martin home. Tavington is personally looking for Hermione. While browsing one of the rooms, He swears that she is there. Unknowing to Tavington, Hermione hides under the table, and manages to slip away before he can notice.
In order to save the Martins, Hermione runs further into the woods, half hoping that The Green Dragoons, and Colonel Tavington, will follow her. This comes true, and Hermione is captured. Tavington is more than pleased.
While at Fort Carolina, Colonel Tavington begins to seduce her, and even takes her to one of the Loyalist social gatherings. Hermione starts to give in, but not entirely.
While in battle, The Colonel and Gabriel Martin, who also has feelings for Hermione, duel against each other. Tavington gets shot, and falls to the ground.
It was not a fatal hit. Gabriel doesn't realize this, and comes closer to Tavington's body, preparing to stab it. That's when Tavington uses his sword to pierce through Gabriel, killing him.
It is not until after he stabs Gabriel, that he realizes Hermione watched the whole thing, now horrified and afraid.
