I have trayed this trick and it worked for me. My xbox 360 was out of warrany and had 3 red lights. So the opening of the box and hot air gun is too much time for me so i tried this crazy trick and it worked in 1 shot! THE KING IS DEATH - LONG LIVE THE KING.

I tried playing old school free-for-all(Cod4)
1 Minute into the match, it freezes
I turn it off, then back on,try a different game type
Freezes 1 minute into the match. Yet again.
My Advise is this:DON"T MESS WITH IT
If you mess with it, and Microsoft finds out..
They might not give you a new one

Maybe work till the warranty runs out
But that doesnt mean its fixed,does it?

Maybe he just placed another xbox360. He also moved it way closer to the TV, just to cool down? Idunno, looks like a waste of my time.
of course, thats only when the failsafe of the 3 rings works, if the board blew a capcitor or the solder melted from too much stress than yeah, its better just to ship it back.
