You're crazy if you think this is better then the Live at Fillmore East version with Crazy Horse. This song was never played as perfectly as when it was Neil and Danny Whitten on guitar.

OK...you got me here. I *do* adore the Live At Fillmore East version. Very cathartic...OK, I missed that one. I submit!!!! :) It's been a while since I heard it, though, possibly why I forgot about it--my CD was lost and I haven't replaced it yet, no money. :(

That's a pretty fair comment. ;)
Keep in mind that at this time in their career the Birds had been the far bigger band than the Hollies or the Buffalo Springfield so David was kind of the superstar of the group. It's a pretty big contrast to the Deja Vu movie clips I'm seeing about the Freedom of Speech tour. Clearly Neil is the lead horse now (and has been for the last 20 - 30 years).

Its' REAL COOL to see this Posting(One of Several)of Actual Footage of the Performance Itsself! The More Amazing stuff and Footage appears to be taken from a Small Single-Engine Aircraftor a Glider riding the Air Current Adjacent to Mt. Tamelpice! Really Incredible Footage!! THANX for the Posting, Cadyaroop! (Also- who is the 'ACE' @the End of the TAPE??)
