wow, that was 1984, I was 13! I had a commodore 64, and loved it. I still have a C64 emulator for windows...lol I remember buying a modem, and looking through the compuserve book, which was the internet with no DNS, and connecting to companies mainframes. I had no idea what to do once connected, but it was ccooll.
This video shows Steve Jobs for what he was and is, a great innovator. He invented the whole GUI idea, or at least was the first to actually create one!
but in 1984, $2,495 was a lot

I also remember walking OUT of "Chariots of Fire" after 20 minutes. It was the gayest crap movie I ever saw! My father and I were disgusted, and went into the other theater and watched the Terminator.. way better!

@reck101101: Yeah, but it wasn't Apple that invented the mouse. Douglas Engelbart did, and the maker of his mouse invented the ball mouse for the Xerox Alto, which was earlier than and suspiciously similar to the Apple Lisa. It also happens that Steve Jobs took a visit to Xerox PARC and saw the Alto. Hm....

A 9" High resolution black and white screen, very good for that time. So the original Mac had speechoutput aswell, all the new Macs have VoiceOver, and a number of built in voices.
