Beautiful Pictures on the Norfolk Southern Mainlines...Ft.Wayne Line, Conemaugh Line, Pittsburgh Line, and the Mon Line. If you want to see what the eyes of the Conductor and Engineer see then check out this video. I have special pictures in of the Horseshoe Curve in Altoona, PA. I also have pictures in there of the Wal-Mart landslide that caused a shutdown for Norfolk Southern for about 3 days. It also closed Rt.65 for about a week! Talk about heavy fines for Wal-Mart.

| How often are trains going through Horseshoe Curve? I was in Somerset KY over Memorial day, and I went down to the NS office to watch the trains. The trains were going through Somerset about every 15 to 20 minutes on two main line tracks. |

| wow great video!!! i just wish i was there in a cab of an engine to really get to see the beautiful sencery! just cant wait for my yearly trip to the famous curve. once i figure out when im going i will let you know and maybe while im railfanning i will see you in that cab taking a train up or down the curve. if you arent going that way when may i some time see you pass by in a train. |

| are you out of Altoona or Pittsburgh? I used to come into Conway from Toledo now talk about a sharp curve! What I miss from that is coming into Cleveland around dusk and seeing the skyline still but majority of lights are still on. I liked the small towns around Alliance with the roads so close together non-stop horn really... Good Vid the wal-mart slide looks huge and with all the equipment on the hill makes it look even bigger thanks again |
