the live footage is taken from the agora ballroom,in cleveland,ohio. i saw them and many others during the 70's,80's a.d was cleve.favorite sons,along with the rassberries

Actually, this footage was done at Cleveland's WEWS studio as a promotional item for the 1980 "Rave On" album. The Agora Ballroom neon is a prop - Remember, they were signed to Agora Records. Originally, "Rave On" was going to be 5 studio songs and 5 live tracks. But Bill and Gary Herrewig managed to come up with 5 more songs for the album - and that idea was scratched.

Yes, this version appears on the 1975 Columbia release "Honor Among Thieves" which has been reissued three times. 1990 on Columbia/Sony, then 1997 on Pendulum/Sony and now 2008 on American Beat Records. American Beat also includes the 45 RPM Single Version. This song actually reached number one in Iowa for six weeks back in 1976/77!

Online, you can find it at Best Buy, Circuit City and Amazon. If you're local to the Cleveland, Ohio area - The Exchange (possibly online there too) and Record Den. The reissue label is American Beat Records. they are working on the rest of the catalog.

That's a tough question to answer... Like MSB, they really couldn't "break out" mainstream, though they received strong airplay and support in the Midwest, and the record critics and publications liked their material. When "Rave On" came out(their last release), things looked really promising (sales were good), financial problems struck and the band called it quits. Thankfully, we've been able to get them to play reunion shows these past couple of years.
