That was horrific. In one scene in dawn light, he's clinging to the capsized hull. The exhaustion must have been too much. It looked a little hopeful with the sun out in the last scene but there was still too much water which makes the hull more willing to capsize. Poor guy.

At one point Dom Lee defends the fact that he is not a wuss... noooo kidding, if that isn't a massive example of an understatement I don't know what is.
More proof, yet another reason, for why I am proud to be a Brit.
Enjoy the 8 lives you have left Dom, you've earned them!

Just seen this video on another site and came on here to see if he made it. Thank God he did, a very moving account of a situation that must have been truly awful. It takes a Man to show that kind of emotion, he is no wuss and I would sail with him anywhere. Read "If " by Kipling as it sums this man up.

God hears even the tiniest voice in the most angry of seas. This guy is unbelievable, to look death in the face and still walk away. Anyone who doesn't give this guy their fullest props hasn't really lived a day in their lives. Kudo's Capt. Mee, good to know your home!

I agree, God hears every voice no matter how small or faint...but, I have a question, and I promise it is an honest one...do you know if he lived through this? I saw CNN was doing a thing on him and I wasn't sure how it ended, because they found the boat underwater. Do you know?

Dom, only those of us who have experienced this can truely understand. That decision to pull the EPIRB is yours alone to do, never try to justify why. If you have experienced the deep despair of the ocean, those are the ones who understand. Glad your safe mate. Craig Uhler
