Everyone who knows B3 lore knows the story of the "CAT", Jimmy Smith, pasting a lifesize illustration of the footpedals in front of himself and doing all sorts of contrapuntal shit; dancing every-which-way on those footkeys! After 2 weeks he emerged the undisputed virtuoso of the footboard! I know this is true, 'cause Jimmy (in person!) told me so! lol. |
