You can not be this ignorant can you? Maybe your anti-American TV has not told you, but Iraq is free and the fighting continues to get Al Qaeda out and destroyed. They are almost 100% defeated. Bin Laden has stated Iraq is the number one battle in the warr on terror. Al Qaeda must win in Iraq. You obviouosly just don't understand what is at stake. That is ok however. The USA does see these things and your little country is probably protected by us over and over. So get a clue how things are.

Still, it's entirely possible that he DID say it. But you do realize that he's engaging in propaganda and that the tapes are directed at specific groups of people? They're not intended as general statements of policy or agenda. If he says that to the insurgents in Iraq, for example, that doesn't necessarily mean he believes it -- he just wants them to keep fighting.

The danger the US faces from terrorists is almost nonexistent. Over the past 6 years, we've lost more people to flu than to terrorists. Car accidents, heart disease, cancer, all the usual killers. Millions upon millions from these, with hardly a comment.
We lose more soldiers to suicide from PTSD *EVERY* *YEAR*, than we have lost in the entire Gulf War. That's because we refuse to treat our soldiers when they get psychologically damaged. We deny them their benefits.
