Great cartoon!
I especially like Jimmy MacDonald's role in this cartoon as the lion. It's hard to believe the same guy who did Mickey Mouse (after Walt), Gus & Jaq from Cinderella, Chip & Dale, Evinrude from the Rescuers & Humphery the Bear was all one guy. In my opinion, he's the Mel Blanc of classic Disney (& the best sound effect man who ever lived).

I don't agree here. His voice in fact became more mature, but it didn't really changed or even broke. Until his last roles - even in THE PARTY CRASHERS - he never lost the smoothness in it.
You can also listen to him in his radio shows on his Tribute website under ON AIR to compare.
