On DM's debut album "Speak and Spell", Vince wrote most of the songs while Martin Gore only contributed two: Tora Tora Tora and the instrumental Big Muff. Therefore, the song is credited solely to Martin Gore.

Sorry but this is NOT Live at Croc's in 1981
I have every copy of every DM live show at Croc's, many off the desk, the rest from the DJ booth. It could possibly be a soundcheck, but it doesn't sound LIVE and I have the ONLY copies except for the 20th Century Box Gig, of which there are three copies, and during that gig, a loose connection at the begining of Big Muff caused a series of loud crackles and fuzz as Dave left the stage after starting his Dr Rythmn drum machine

Sorry when it's not correct (my cd only says live at crocs 81, big muff is the 3rd of 9 tracks).
I think it's a soundboard recording (the other tracks have some quiet applause on beginning and end).
