Certainly, I'm none too fond of overgeneralization but Americans are *very* different from citizens in other countries. Granted, there are universal commonalities as well, but Americans grow up in a very unique environment. Truth be told, the complaints I might voice against Americans aren't really directed towards the citizenry. Ultimately, and broadly, it's the government.
