wow they really slowed this down and made it TOO poppy and commercial. If anyone here can get a hold on Hollywood Rocks box set of 80s metal in LA thing youll hear this song but A LOT better, faster, and more raw. i guess they dropped the more rock sound to get signed. Kinda a shame cuse its my favorite song in the whole box set and this sounds like some crappy tv show theme song.

I actually discovered this band after finding out G.G. Allin's Sluts In The City is actually a cover of Candy's Kids In The City (strangely, there's absolutely no mention of this anywhere). G.G. of course makes it 10 million times better, but at least I discovered this great band. Probably the best 80's pop band ever, along with The Cure. Classic song and video.

I saw these guys on the strip back in the day. They played Madame Wong's West in Santa Monica all the time. Did some great shows at the Whisky. They played a great gig at Knott's Berry Farm and even opened for Rick Springfield. The great Kim Fowley produced the album, they got a National TV Commercial for 'Super Sugar Crisp' Cereal which only lasted a couple of weeks, then Duran-Duran broke and CANDY faded. Too bad they were really great.
