As it pertains to this video...I like the imagery. Different art speaks to different people. A lot of people find this pointless and boring, but I like looking at hills and desolation of sorts. As it pertains to 80's videos...yeah I got nothing. You've got a very valid and correct point.

great song and i miss videos that show bands playing instruments , i thought it was good to watch not Great but good, and the prob why people expect so much from videos today is there are so many solo and groups that cant play a single note, they are just vocalists so the vids are designed to make you not pick on that fact

This song is far from pointless. It's about environmental pollution around Lake Michigan from all the big smoke stack factories. So, "get off of my stack." And it never gets addressed cause money and politics: "babies got a trust fund," "power politician moving to the right," and "not another pay off." Listen to the words.

let me rephrase my comment because obviously the point i was trying to make didn't get across to people...
i was trying to say that music doesn't have to have a point to it, and this video certainly doesn't have a point to it, unless theres some deep metaphysical meanings behind a bunch of band members playing in the wilderness, maybe they're just trying to point out the beauty of nature?
