Patriots Ground Jets 20-10 in second episode of SPYGATE

Patriots literally used the ground to beat the Jets as they handed off to running back Laurence Maroney for a season high 26 times for 104 yards. Maroney was the only offensive player in the game to find the end zone with a 1-yard plunge in the second quarter. Brady was held to only 140 yards, with one interception and no TD's. Eugene Wilson scored the other Patriot TD on the second play of the game by intercepting a Kellen Clemens' pass from the 5-yard line, a play which forced Clemens out of the game after taking a huge hit by Richard Seymour. That set the tone for the Patriots' defense who held the Jets to one offensive score, a field goal. The Jets TD came on a blocked punt that was run into the endzone by David Bowens. Patriots's kicker Stephen Gostkowski kicked two field goals in the 20-10 final. An unusual outing for Brady's high powered offense that failed to score a TD in the second half for the first time this season. There was much curiosity how the coaches' handshake would go after the game with
the still-lingering "Spy Gate" incident still very present in the media and in the stands.
