The Sunshine Kids Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises money for children with cancer. 100% of the proceeds go towards giving these brave kids a chance to live life as it is meant to be lived. They and their families are given opportunities that would otherwise be impossible because of medical treatments and certain procedures the kids have to go through every day. With this act, we not only hope to gain support for the Sunshine Kids, but also help people to understand what kids with cancer face everyday. Most people only see outer appearances and these kids with no hair are often quickly judged. Girls in particular are often seen as less than beautiful with their bald heads. We aim to not only raise money for these brave children, but also to help people understand that, despite their lack of hair, these ids are still beautiful and that their sickness only makes them stronger as people. Kids with cancer have a lot of special physical and emotional needs, and Sunshine Kids can help them
safely enjoy a few days away from the isolation and restrictions of their medical worlds.
