tegid699 the song was not written about freddie ... it was written to show how Brian May felt during his divorce... he wrote this because he felt he loved Chrissy Mullen and Anita Dobson equally or something like that (or something like that ... not sure those are the exact names) ... this song is also in Brian May's solo album Back to the Light

No. Brian May wrote this song with Frank Lamers and Elisabeth Musker in the 80s. He later released it as a single and on his first solo album (Back To Light, 1992). The lyrics don't have anything to do with Freddie or his death. (It's about Brian's first divorce)
