I love Metallica XD, I think James voice does sound a bit different, but I think something may have been bothering him. I am a lead vocalist in a band, well you don't have to know vocals to know if something is bothering you then your singing will be effected greatly. For example if I am really sad or if I just got dumped, I won't sound as good when singing a happy or love song.

I love this song, but, it doesn't live up to the metalness it's supposed to be. Vocals, I understand are hard, but he sounds droney.
They sond like one of the more modern rock bands in this video, tonally.

i think kirk is playing slightly slower than james, technically kirk is at fault as james started and so set the rhythm, you can hear that james pauses for a second to adjust to kirks lead.
