What strikes me so much about this ad is how substantive it is compared to the television ads, from both parties, that we see today. If you ran an ad talking about all the weapons systems and defense spending that Barack has opposed and bad-mouthed, people would be like "Huh?" "What?"
But one thing is still shocking and blunt enough for people to pick up on, and it still goes right to the gut, even for those who support abortion: Infanticide.
