For 800 years,England abused Ireland and used it to make England the country is today.The Irish have now forgiven them by letting sing their anthem in the same stadium England raided years ago and killed Irish players.The Irish are right to be crying for being part of such a historical event.There was no jeering during the anthem at all.This peace would not have happened in an English venue.God Bless The Irish.Such a strong country filled with pride and able to cope completely on it own.

Well said sir, It's important to be proud of your country and respectful of others. This event was hard to take for many GAA folk given the events of Bloody Sunday 1920. (British troops massacred players and spectators on that very field) The people of Ireland have real historical grievences about the way England behaved there. But lets fight it out on the sports field and not on the battlefield. Here's to a brighter future for all in these Islands!
