I think its racist becuase uncle herman couldn;t even go to premiers after winning awards which disgusts me.
Theres a part in the moview where uncle herman is called a niggar by one of those guys on horses.
When uncle herman sees two kids fighting, he tries to break it up and gets blamed for it. Additionally he was called a mindless coffee bean (Coffee is black and has no mind).
Finally theres a part in the movie where uncls asks for a bath. He was refused becuase..
So let protest who wants and simply enjoy the movie. Btw: James Baskett was the first black actor ever to win an Oscar.
:]
hopefully they understand what you just said and the history about it. Its truely a good movie, and if people dont like it, just turn the other cheek and dont pay attention to it.
Although I'm already possessing a great deal of material on Bobby's life and career, not always collected by conventional ways, I would never justify or even advise this as the normal or best way to do.
BTW: I consider all my Disney-clips still tacitly tolerated, since the Disney Studios are extremely nit-pick, when it concerns their finacial interests.
The only people who will say it was bad are politicains,PCorrect,Black nationalist and liberal communist from the north.
I said it several times before, so I will say it only once again.
These clips are meant as samples to show Bobby's great acting talent and not as just another platform for political discussions and intolerance.
If this doesn't stop, I will disable the comment option costantly.
If don't have to say anything about the movie
and/or the actors - simply shut up.
Sorry, to say it this way now, but it seems to be the only working way.

why is Gone with the Wind not banned (has slaves in it) but Song of the South is banned by Disney?
Gone with the Wind is such a classic masterpiece, no way in hell we allow anyone to ban it. We should behave the same way for this movie!
So it's not the first time. Song of the South is not a racist movie.
Its sad Blacks still say doe's insted of do. WHY? tHAT DRIVES ME CRAZY!
