No, it isn't Candy - it's actually me, Jo Hughes I played on Dave's European tour back in 1995. This video was made in Hamburg and broadcast in Germany. I'm British by the way. And thanks for saying I look like a man in drag! lol. :-)

Hey Jo Hughes, I like your way of playing Lily was here, it's absolutely different (And in my opinion even better) than the way Candy Dulfer plays it. Hope I'm not wrong, were you there on a Yanigisawa A9930? I play also on that saxophone, and I love playing on it. But what mouthpiece do you play on? I'm living in The Netherlands, so excuse me for my wrong English ;)

Hi there! (your English is great!) Yes I was playing a Yanigasawa alto (with a sterling silver neck) although I borrowed this from a friend!). I think I was using a Dukoff mouthpiece on this tour. These days I play vintage King Super 20s on both tenor and alto and still use Dukoffs (D9). Thanks for your nice words, btw. I think Dave wanted Candy for the tour but she wasn't available, so he auditioned for female sax players and I got the gig. This video was a LONG time ago though! lol

i wondered what this song was called, being instrumental i had a hard time looking it up. My mate and i used to joke about being at this song in the 90's and say if we were at a concert what would we ask the band to play not having words to the song.
