that would be a really stupid joke to play on the French, but just to see the looks on their faces would be worth it.
This weapon uses a gas trap to increase the rate of fire.
If there is no bullet passing through the gas trap (i.e. if this were firing blanks), wouldn't the only thing contributing to the action, be the blow black action, which would produce a rate of fire of less than 500 rpm?
How is the gun still firing so rapidly, if it is firing blanks?
