Your thumb is not in the ball. That is the incorrect way. That was a lucky strike, you missed the pocket.

not exactly a proper bowl, and that shouldn't have been a strike as you completely missed the pocket. Use the holes in the ball, what do you think they're there for? :P

That way can hurt your wrist in the long run. Try holding it with all three fingers and hold it with your hand slightly to the right of the ball. Also Snap it with your wrist, as if you're picking one side of the ball. This might help...

all you noobs think that making the ball curve looks PBA but it isnt your just ruining the lane and jacking up the sport of bowling all because the pins knock down you think your cool but you arent its just trying to be stupid learn how to reall y bowl just by watching the professionals doesnt mean your good. if your throwing strikes with that kind of hook thenthats just luck why wont all you noobs play bowling for beer and nachos and shit just back off and try not to be like the pros u suck

First of all hooking the ball does not wreck the lane. Second of all most professionals do hook the ball as it gives you a better chance to hit a strike and less of a chance to get a split. And third of all these people can bowl however they like just like the pros. There is one pro that bowls competitivly using both hands instead of just one. Bowling can be done however you like. (also before you call others noobs what is your average and highest game?)

He might be doing it wrongly but it is actually a real type of bowling style.. Just search Jason Belmonte.. He is a 2-handed bowlwer who uses this style but of course the right 2-handed way...
