Oh Carolyn...I am SO sorry. I have been so busy with our canine cancer walk that I haven't visited the Land of Pure Gold lately. :(
While I know it's of no consolation, I know my Maggie has now learned where all the very best cookie trees are, after almost 6 months of being at the Bridge-and has found your sweet Rookie to show him around.

I have a Golden puppy named Finn and he is just 10 months and I think of you when I dance with him while doing obedience practices at home. I have a Golden "oldie" and though he doesn't share the same obvious talent as Rookie they do share the same ability to bring joy and laughter to my life daily. I watch this video often and the response of the crowd to Rookie and Carolyn always makes my heart skip a beat and tears come to my eyes from the shear joy of witnessing such a loving bond. Carolyn, Rookie was such a blessing to you, my prayers are with you during this difficult time. Rookie will be remembered with sincere adoration.

This video makes me cry with joy at the bonding, hard work and loyalty so obvious between Carolyn and Rookie. They demonstrate the best kind of love! What a heartache to lose such a perfect companion. May there be peace over the Rainbow bridge.

Carolyn and Rookie - an extraordinary tribute to the human/canine bond. What a team! Watching them together brought tears to my eyes. I'm so sorry for the loss of that wonderful dog!
