It's the substance of them, cuz obviously there are guitarist that can do more intense things on the guitar like Yngwie Malmsteen but, David Gilmour is an O.G. influenced by blues, so its not about speed or how many notes he can hit. It's about making the guitar speak and tell us a story, weather it be a sad one, happy, angry. That's what its about overall though, all feeling.
