yea, dwest was terrible at the beginning. i can see the mavs trying to shut down chris paul and then dwest goin for 35 next game lol. if dwest gets started early he cant be stopped. mavs did a really good job at the beginning. pargo shut down the x factor in terry. we will see how it goes. should be interesting.

o, also how do you feel about the dirk flop. i mean, even as a mavs fan you have to admit that dirk flying through the air was overkill right? chandler pushed him but it wasnt much. maybe enough to have him move a foot. not fly through the air. just wondering what a mavs opinion was. if you think chandler really deserved a tech instead of just a personal foul.

This from a Dallas newspaper sums it up regarding Jason Kidd! Kidd as your MVP is silly!!
* Paul scored 15 points in the third quarter, assisted on five other baskets and made 7-of-11 field goals as New Orleans zoomed past the Mavs and took a four-point lead into the fourth quarter. Kidd played the entire third quarter, when he managed two assists and no points.

Avery is forcing Kidd, a fast-break PG to run a half-court isolation set. It doesn't fit his style at all.
And if the Hornets keep shooting the way they are, there are no opportunities for fast-breaks and for Kidd to really shine, lol.

Man, the two games in this series would have been 20 times closer if that trade never happened. Chris Paul would not be goin off so easily if Devin Harris was guarding him. And don't forget about Diop. This series would be much tougher if they never traded for Kidd.

Except Chris Paul averaged about 30pts and 12asts while Harris was there this season as well. Harris would've scored more than Kidd in this series giving the Mavs a better chance to win but Harris hasn't been able to slow CP down this season either. Not as a Mav and not as a Net.
