They actually made three: one for Buck, one for Don, and one for Forrest White who was a Fender executive and long-time associate of Leo Fender. I think Don's wife still owns his. Buck may have given his own to Marty.

Marty Stuart claimed that Buck Owens gave him Don Rich's silver metal-flake telecaster. I saw it in a documentary with Marty holding it. Marty also has Clarence White's original brown tele that was the prototype of the b-bender mechanism. Clarence had to double the width of the body to conceal the mechanics of the b-bender becuase it protruded outside the normal dimensions of the body. It's as wide as an acoustic guitar. Marty used it in some of his videos from the early nineties and live shows.

Maybe so, but according to the liner notes on the Don Rich Anthology CD when Buck went on tour with Dwight Yoakam he contacted Don's wife and asked her to send Don's Tele to him to use on the tour. Maybe she gave it to him and he subsequently gave it to Stuart. There's no mention of Stuart owning the guitar, but perhaps he acquired it after the CD was released. If he does own it, at least it, and the music, will be treated with respect!

Fantastic buck , fantastic tom Brumley on pedal steel but Don Riche's harmony vocals are just awesome.
