The german uniforms are very appealing. They are neat, fit for purpose, and tough-looking. But it is the history that underpins the true value of any military equipment. I couldn't wear any uniform bearing distinctions of the notorious SS. It's just too disturbing. On the other hand, it would be quite difficult to reenact some of the WWII battles without WH or SS units. Somebody has to lose after all.
