I've tried to watch soccer. So far, I haven't been able to stay awake through an entire game. Soccer is played by millions of young people in the U.S. Mostly, they're the type of kids who get stuffed into their lockers by football players between each middle school class and whose moms drive mini-vans. It's a game you outgrow, kind of like hopscotch or kickball. Three things the rest of the world loves that will never be fully accepted in the U.S.- socialism, the metric system, and soccer.

football is a way tougher sport than soccer. In soccer you get to kick a ball from one end of the field to the other and score. its fun and a pretty basic concept. football, on the other hand , you CARRY a ball from one side of the field to the other while avoiding being tackled by guys usually twice your size. In my opinion requires as much if not more skill. and they're not tights they're football pants that are skintight so the other team cant tackle you by grabbing your pants.

For the record I was referring to the American Football world cup which took place during the summer of 2007. Which as I mentioned the US crushed every opponent using 3rd tier players.
