wow..I thought more highly of chomsky. case in point why I do not hero worship anymore. he normaly cites facts but here I heard none...in terms of why he beleves it wasnt a conspiracy...just conjector. "oh it would have been leeked" or "what if the planes missed". I'm not saying I know for sure but I do know there are many questions unanswerd. he raised none of them.

Since Chomsky didn't answer your question effectively. Let me ask you a question? Why did the Clinton Admin. attack Bush Sr. for 8 years for not taking out Saddam? Why did the IRAQ LIBERATION ACT get passed in 1998 earmarking about 96 million to remove Saddam? It was a well known fact If Bush Jr. was elected in 2000 he would take out Saddam! So the question is this did the USA have to do a FALSE FLAG operation to invade IRAQ when it passed a law to liberate Iraq 5 years earlier?

I can understand why Noam Chomsky is dismayed with the 911 conspiracy movement. He has devoted his life to uncovering the REAL atrocities committed by the U.S. government. He has published volume upon volume of reasoned intelligent argument suported by FACTS that highlight U.S. war crimes all over the world, and the slaughter of millions of people for the benefit of U.S. capitalism. I can see why he thinks the 9/11 conspiracy is insignificant when compared to REAL ATROCITIES happening in Iraq

I really disagree with Chomsky on this one. not only on the fact that I think 911 was a controlled demolition or at the least we need a real investigative commission. Finding the answers to this and Kennedy gives us insight into bigger issues as well so I don't think its a waste of time. And I would like to hear Chomsky say that to the face of families that lost loved ones in the WTC.

Your right buildings don't collapse from fires. What a foolish argument and comparison that is. However,how many of those buildings that didn't collapse from fires had planes strike them at the speeds that the WTC towers were hit at. How do we compare apples to apples. A small plane hit a tower recently in NY. So was the Empire State Bldg.. However the WTC towers support weight was transferred to the outer skin to add office space.This was unprecedented in bldg. engineering. FLAWED DESIGN SADLY!

According to the engineers who designed the buildings, because of there sheer height, they WERE designed to withstand the impact of a plane. It defies the laws of physics, how does damage to the top of a structure cause its BASE collapse. The plane that hit the second tower sliced a huge whole in the in the upper part of the tower and THATS were the fire occured, if anything the top of the tower, if so severly damaged, would have gave away first.

if one floor collapses then alle the lower floors will get the weight of all the upper floors with momentum on it, which is more plausible to break it. then its all dominos, a chain reaction.

The tower in fact did give way precisely where the towers were hit.The fact that the 2nd tower hit fell first is indicative of the fact that the incredible weight of the structure above where the plane hit could not be supported. The Titanic was unsinkable and we know what happened there. The same goes for the WTC towers. The reality is they weren't able to sustain a hit from a plane of that size and speed!
