Townshend was a great riff creator but not nearly as good as Iommi or Page
but both Iommi and Page were the fathers of heavy metal riffs
nobody has more or better riffs than those two
Some of pages solos are very sloppy while nearly every Zep song has a great riff
hes a great lead soloist and riff creator
but a better riff creator
and i agree townshends the best rhythm player
