You can't simply be respected because you assume that your position demands it, no you have to earn that respect. And most of the people in that field are quite clueless. There are a respectable few who are on the top of their game, but the rest are clueless. They can't even use proper English in their written reports. It's like a 6 year old writing a letter to Santa.

Dude, this is so typical. Torontonians make a statement of OPINION and then get given the title of "smug". If someone from NY,NY said "Ha ha ha, the security guards got uncontrollably whiny." you probably would not have said that.

Yes, I am a Torontonian. I do NOT think that the world revolves around Toronto (obviously, contrary to popular belief). I would like to let you know that I do a lot of improv and acting and this was an amazing feat. Even if it had been planned, or even if it was a copycat stunt, it was one of the best public displays I've yet to see in Toronto.

HAHA " the security gaurds werent happy". The security in eaton center for the most part are a bunch of assholes. They think they are cops. Especially the lazy eyed black guy with the mini fro. He has some serious issues. Hes been working there for at least 10 years now and he is always looking and acting grumpy.

This kind of failed...people had gathered ahead of time to freeze... improv everywhere did it much better.
The point is to get to the spot where you're going to be frozen JUST as the time to start freezing happens. Also, if that many people are going to do it, there should be a bigger area to do it in.

Toronto has enough personality! and no, not everything revolves around toronto, but toronto is one of the main cities in the world that are hubs of all activities. not saying everything happens here, but many things go happen in Toronto. It's a much better news story than the normal fear-mongering media are practicing these days. Stop bitching. Toronto has it's problems like EVERY other place on the planet. But after doing an extensive amount of travelling I had to admit TO is far better than I ever gave it credit for. No, we're not Americans even if we're forced to digest their "culture" daily, (much like the rest of the world). And YES west coast, we know you hate Toronto, old news!..we still love u anyway. Can we move on??

Toronto has the best bicycle paths/inline skate paths/Longboard paths, In the world! You sart a Steeles, head south [because of the slight level drop towards the lake] end up downtown after five hours. Then you can head east towards the beaches area, or go to a bar on Queen St West. Finally taking the streetcar, and then head north again on the subway. You can't do that in Los Angeles!

i think it is pretty safe to say that toronto has become the joke of north america.. when i moved to toronto in 2001 it was still nice now it has become trash central.. niggers chinks everywhere
