I sort of know how you feel;however, if you believe in God, then He`s just got to be awesome & beyond us: smacking Him on the nose isn`t going to be an option, is it.And besides, mainstream Christian belief is that God made the world perfect, and its OUR turning our backs on God that collectively results in the awfulness of a world of imperfection & suffering.The Easter message is about God suffering for us to rectify that (if we allow Him to). winston. I suggest you read about some of the worst cases of child abuse or visit a hospital and see a child with burns and then reconsider your faith. I am a spiritual person but this has nothing to do with any organised religion. No one has gone to war or abused a child in the name of my spirituality. I doubt the same can be said of your belief.
