indeedy ..... just got to listen to Stevo play and I can forgive any of his lyrics .... and they kind of did fit with the whole band concept/trend of the time this was written and recorded (1989). SS is a huge 50s sci-fi fan and a lot of the concept and songs on the album reflect that interest.

Radiation is a word used in association with the word "nuclear".
The singer define his group as "lovers of the nuclear century (the 20th)".

what doesnt make sense about that? the song is about nuclear weapons being used and what could happen if people high up in government make the decision to use them basically. radiation romeo would probably be refering to us(who use the bomb)in the end hurting ourselves and its not worth it.
