i wonder what the pilot felt after releasing the bomb and killing many people at one time?
i don't know he is still alive but he's still been proud of his duty of killing many ordinary japanese people?
i hope all people in the world who were killed in these kind of catastrophic events would be able to rest in heaven.
and of course the pilot is included to this if he would be suffering from what he did for the rest of his life.

is it just me or is this video is really inaccurate... the bomber wasnt called enola gay... enola gay was written on fatman the other atomic bomb and the bomb didnt have a parachute? O_O and the scene where the mother hugs the baby is just creepy, isnt this a bit to graphic to be an anime???

I'd agree with you if America hadn't decided to drop the bomb on harmless cities like Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The capital and several other cities housed true military power, but the American government wanted to keep them around because of their "strategic importance" to future endeavors. In that sense, there is absolutely no justification in your argument, because the targets were innocents, and not militants.
That makes every supporter a murderer.

If you weren't a twit, you would realize that the film wasn't about stupid petty details and was actually about what happened after the bomb dropped on Hiroshima. Did you not see their eyes and skin melt or are you just that callous? This is what the man saw when he experienced it. So it's not going to be ponies and rainbows, it is a bomb.

Don't you people see that the point is the fear of atomic bomb? It is not important by whose fault it was caused. It was legal to kill so many people and still is. It can still happen anywhere in the world. In this movie, it was Hiroshima, Japan marely because they actually experienced it.
I just want to ask you a simple question.
"Would you like to be in such catastrophe? Or would you like your friends, siblings, or children to experience it?" I guess we all share the same answer there.

I see a lot of whining here about Hiroshima, but what about the sailors and crews who died in the Japanese sneak attack on Pearl Harbor? We had done nothing to provoke it. Japan didn't even challenge us. They just sneaked in and destroyed our navy. On the other hand, when the U.S. bombed Japan, our two countries were at war. If Japan had developed the bomb first, you can bet they would have used it on us.

You whiners might also want to remember that America stopped Hitler's march across Europe and freed thousands from his concentration camps. Truman dropped the bomb because the only alternative to that was to invade Japan, and then there would have been some REAL carnage. You guys need to stop watching cartoon propaganda and crack open a history book. You might learn something about how America and its allies saved the world from a monster who threw little kids in ovens.

wrong: U.S. dropped Atom bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki because they were surrounded by mountains - the perfect formula for maximum damage and a true test on its devastating power. I am not saying that I 'approved' America's method of winning the war, but in my opinion, the dropping of the two bombs saved many lives on both sides (an invasion would have cost lives in the millions)
