You can't upload PPT to youtube. You must convert it to a video format. Usually it requires a paid program. I used Camtasia to place video over my PPT and saved it in a video format.

Thank you so much for taking the time to make this great video on presentation skills. I have looked at many videos on YouTube and yours really kept my interest. For sometime now I have been wanting to get away from bullet points and now I know how to do it. I will also be checking the resources you mentioned. Thanks again!

Thank you for taking the time to constructively point out why I have always made fun of powerpoint presentations!!!! I am a graduate student preparing to teach my first class next semester so your sound, well presented tutorial is very much appreciated. I am passing it along to my classmates so that we can all avoid those horrible pitfalls.

I must ask where you got a lot of your information. It seems that your work on this presentation took a lot of liberties with other people's work. In particular, right at the very beginning I noticed a very significant parallel with "Five ways to reduce
PowerPoint overload" by Cliff Atkinson and Richard E. Mayer.
I'd love to see your bibliography, especially when it seems that you take images and ideas right from other people's work.

Obviously this is a mash up of various people including Atkinson, Lessig and Godin. This is clearly stated at the end of the video. While I do not clearly list sources and perhaps I should have, there is little in the way of standardization in terms of attribution.
Since 2006 I have become better at citing sources in this new age of copyright and mashups. Clearly it's within the bounds of acceptable use and I do attribute sources, albeit not in traditional formats.

Great video.
I disagree with the "no using templates" idea, as I make my own which is very minimal and basic so attention is kept. However, my school is full of students who just throw animation and sounds in their presentations EVERYWHERE. So I'm totally against animations and transitions. Thanks :D

Your video is an excellent example of how even a good PowerPoint presentation can't make up for speaking skills. I am not trying to be rude but I could not make it past 5 minutes because your speaking style wanders so much and is frankly rather boring.
When talking about a specific idea you are to the point and very lively, but in between there are lots of "ums" and it doesn't seem that you actually thought out this presentation. Great slides aside, you are back to a deadly boring lecture.
