Then there is a dash of humour. He mentions the girl who is a human trampoline...and says "we're bouncing into Graceland :) "Bouncing" could also refer to the bumpy ride (in the car / pickup) en route to Graceland in Memphis. Finally, this album was cut in a period when Paul was heavily involved in South Africa, and the struggles there. So "Graceland" could also be an allusion to SA. Yet another level / layer. I tell you, as a songwriter / musician, he is PEERLESS.

There are lots of comments about the best singer/songwriter and many names are named. Paul Simon, John Lennon & Jim Croce, that would be my holy trinity. Best song written would be American Pie by Don McLean, and 2nd place goes to James Taylors You´ve got a friend. But tomorrow I might decide for another song. These I mentioned will however always be at the very top of my list.

I was fortunate to attend the S & G Old Friends concert at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, in November 2003. I has a good seat and the experience is a highlight of my life. What a treat!

This was a big concert in Central Park, New York about 1991. I wasn't there, but the concert was heavily publicized. Great song and probably the best rendition of it ever. Always remember the lyrics..."Calls herself the Human Trampoline", Too Funny! Thanks for posting!
