This is ok but there were a couple of mistakes...one around 1:28 the flute is one measure ahead....but it was pretty good at times.Good job.

Congratulations --- you sound fantastic, for a high-school band! As a matter of fact, my only real criticism is that the tempo seemed to flag later in the piece, which may be more the director's fault than that of the musicians *chuckle!* (just kidding; I'm sure your director knows it's supposed to go faster than that, and he seems to have taught you well).

Actually this is a community band - the average age of the participants is about 40 !! Although the ages range from 9 to 75 !! We don't audition and we play purely for fun. Thanks !!

Hi, sbrickles! I guess I got confused because this was *at* a high school, and it's taken from so far away I couldn't make out the faces, etc. It still "counts", though, as a great amateur effort --- I've considered getting involved in all-ages drum-corps, myself. More Rossini! :-) Y'oughta whip out "La Gazza Ladra" or something!

Actually this is a community band - we just play in the High School auditorium - We don't audition and we play purely for fun. We are not looking for perfection. Thanks !!

ok well it was an overall i decent performance but u can tell there were some issues......i really like the piece tho and i hope i get to play it sometimes soon
ps idk if it was the auditoriums acoustics but the band deff. was a louder than need throughout the more subtle and the softer sections of the piece

is there a bassoon? coz it sounds like there is. How do you differentiate a bassoon and trombone? i really think tt they sound veri similar. Anyway, FANTASTIC... ROCKING GOOD!!! i luv bassoon!!! (sry i'm biase as i play the bassoon in my sch band =p)

you should know that a trombone is a BRASS instrument and a bassoon is a WOODWIND instrument. They sound alike because they are the bass line...and BASS LINE ROCKSSSSS (i play baritone). Also the trombone has a very brassy almost like a trumpet only lower and the basson has a more goose sound lol. That should help (My daughter is only in the 7th grade band and she helped me do this so kudos to her :)

Who is stealing? Barber of seville is almost given by free... and stealing from who? A singular orchestra has no exclusive rights in a music, especially this one. lol. You know how much it costs to have a band working? And you know why there are few orchestra in our time? At least in my country... Try to guess... A tip, 6 guys in a stage pretending that are musicians. (not all of course, talking generally). Omg... so sad... And by the way, I like this band, it is good, not perfect, but very good

I think it's just the tune. My school band played this yesterday and I could not stop laughing at that part. I don't know why though. It just makes you laugh. :D

Well i ment it as a joke. XD. Its good but i like the origional with strings and winds. The combination of textures is truely amazing. And i do know how much it costs to have a band working. Well school bands work for free... so do school orchestras... the symphony orchestra i am in just performed this song. It was amazing. Its amazing when you get the origional version going.

i like this song but in orchestra version, this version was yucky and too heavy! what happen to the oboes! Those solos are for the oboes not you clarinets! Geez!
