Great video! Have been many places in my 51 years, but always come back home to Michigan, Live in Jackson,Mi, but the wife and i will move to Oscoda in a few years, up north is just too cool! Born in Michigan, bred in Michigan, and when i die , i'll be dead in Michigan! Remember, Michigan is the most recognizable from space, almost like God put his hand print there, maybe he did! Beautiful stste!

I visted all these places last year. I just LOVE MI.....not overly commercial and I met some REAL American people, far away from the razz matazz. As an "old" English guy from across the pond I really loved all these places and will be here in May 08 for my 3rd visit. I wait impatiently and who needs Disney and FL.

Born and raised in Michigan, and now residing in New York City, Michigan will always be my home. Some day soon I will return to raise a family in the most beautiful state in all of America. I LOVE NORTHERN MICHIGAN. Thank you for sharing this beautiful historic video.

This is a great video. I really enjoyed it. I moved from Michigan several years ago and still have not seen such natural beauty in any other state. Michigan seems to "have it all". It will always be my home and I am proud to be a Michigander.

I live in Flint, Michigan, and the crime rate here is 4 times the national average. Flint is regularly in the top 10 worst crime in the US.
Up north is a lot nicer, but south it's BAD.

Mount Pleasant is a very nice area. You should be just fine there. GO south to Saginaw, Flint, and down in the Detroit area, and you will be in gangland, and drug infested ghetto areas.
Not all of it to be sure, but a large portion of those areas are bad. BAD

michigan is the most beautiful state. we have great summers, beautiful winters, WONDERFUL springs and falls ... michigan is very lush and filled with trees. I love it. i lived in two other states and i'm happy to have returned. some dislike the winters, but it's really fun to get cozy and pile on a second wardrobe.
