I felt that the RCMP handled this situation very professionaly. They upped 1 level on the Use-of-Force scale, as Mr. Dziekanski was demonstrating recklessness and no due care to his surroundings and actions. Its unfortunate that the prepetrator died however, it is due to his own actions which brought it to this. Coming into a foriegn country drunk, not controlling your behaviour, and destroying, equipment that tax payers payed for, is a completely foolish thing to do. TY RCMP for the protection.

You have to be kidding me! Anyone who thinks that the police acted out of line in this situation needs to get their heads checked. This man was obviously irate and non compliant. The police TASERED him, they didn't SHOOT him with a gun. A very unfortunate incident, but these things do happen. This man could have seriously hurt one of those officers who put thier lives on the line EVERY DAY for people like you and I.

Murder/Police Brutality.. The man raises his hands and backs up when they tell him to back up. He was not dangerous. He did not have a weapon. There was no need for a taser.. atleast there is no need for the taser to be drawn right away. The man was happy that someone had arrived to help him. I could have safely taken that man down myslef i wish I was there. And how in the hell is there no translators at an airport come on now..

Second of all he was agitated that the airport was too lazy to find him a They brought in 4 RCMP officers when all they needed was one translator. And as for the use of force he was standing with his arms by his side when he got tasered and he got tasered multiple times and he does not seem that threatining in the video

The use of a taser after a 24 second confrontation is unacceptable. The officer who used the weapon is now in custody after being impaired while driving resulting in another person dying. This guy is a criminal.
