I believe this commercial is funny because of Scholes 3 powers and visual fascination in particular. Visual fascination is the power and pleasure that are organized by video texts. This is evident in the John West Salmon commercial when the bear is doing karate to music. Also showing the bear and the fisherman react in a way that would never happen in real life was humorous to you because of this visual fascination.
