totally agree! I was watching this and thinking "Hm. Cute, and a nice homage to old monster flicks with a touch of early Miyazaki." Nice, but a little forgettable. then i see the young, and think: "Would be hilarious if they just ate her after all this sweetness and light." Boom. Punchline delivered, funnybone tickled, mission accomplished. I'll remember this short for having the COURAGE to shock.
